November 19 marks the 1,000th day of Russia’s war against Ukraine. The Danish poet Bjarne Kim Pedersen has published a poem every about the war since the start. Today he wrote one for us exclusively.

Today marks the 1,000th day of Russia’s war against Ukraine.A war started 100% unprovoked by Vladimir Putin, thrust upon the Ukrainian people who simply wanted to live in freedom in their own country. So far, Russia has killed and wounded hundreds of thousands of them.  Recently we published an interview with the Danish poet Bjarne Kim Pedersen – who has published a poem each day since the war started. Today we are proud to publish a poem that Bjarne has written exclusively for ‘Two Grumpy Old Men on Ukraine’ 🇺🇦 to commemorate this dark milestone.
