We missed the deadline because of breaking news. Four-hour talks between President Viktor Yanukovych and the political opposition failed to end the national crisis, so more protests are likely. In several central and western Ukrainian cities, anti-Yanukovych demonstrators took over government buildings, a sign of growing public anger. There's much more to read in this issue.
