As Kyiv Post chief editor, Brian Bonner has moderated debates in Ukraine between American supporters of presidential candidates since 2012. Now, he is doing it again β this time on Zoom at 5 p.m. in Kyiv on Monday, Nov. 4, the eve of the critical vote.

Reno Domenico, the longtime chairman of Democrats Abroad-Ukraine, will represent Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. Longtime Kyiv lawyer Peter Teluk will argue the Republican Partyβs case.

The virtual wartime event is limited to the first 195 participants. The event will be recorded for later viewing. Viewer commentary will be permitted, assuming it is rational and the language is appropriate. Misconduct will result in expulsion from the event.

Not realistic. Teluk is probably intelligent and a decent human being, with an ability to use more than a limited vocabulary. He probably won't ramble on about windmills, sharks and Hannibal Lector. Hence, he really isn't a realistic stand-in for trump.
