We start with the issue of sanctions against Russia. The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, a Kyiv Post partner, found dozens of European ships have violated the ban on trading in the ports of Russian-occupied Crimea. The news comes as the U.S. announces an expansion against individuals and companies in Russia subject to sanctions. Whether it changes Russian behavior or not, the West is seeking to take a firm stance against Russia's illegal seizure of Crimea and its war against Ukraine.
