For a teacher and a journalist like myself, it is impossible to stay quiet when dumb takes over the world. I apologize. Tomorrow I will be back to my old, calm, correct self, I promise.
Who’d of thunk we’d be done in by Dumb and Dumber. Of all the possibilities! It’s not over yet though.
An anecdote: a year before COVID I was crossing the street with my dog when an F-150 cut across the path of a fast moving delivery truck, turning into the lane I was in. I had no time to get out of the way and just enough time to be pissed that I was going to die this way and also was struck by the notion that of all possible ways that I’d die, a pickup truck was not on the list. Well, obviously I survived! As did my dog. 😅 My point being, of course you and I and everyone else (almost) are aghast that Dumb and Dumber are behind the wheel. We may survive this though. It’s all so stupid, so pointless. The end of their pursuit can’t give them what they seek, whatever it is.
I think you captured the dumb and dumber characters quite well. I and many (the ones I’m still talking to anyway) people I know are furious with the Congressional inaction. They are the only ones at this point who can stop him unless the seditious court realizes its mistake and corrects it. Which is not likely since the Federalist society members outnumber the nonmembers. Pray for us and the world even if you aren’t religious because you never know.
Dumb and dumber are a huge danger to the world order and the repercussions will last for decades. I would like to see the UN move out of the USA. Only the USA can fix the USA.
