There are also millions of us here who care about Ukraine and Ukrainians. The stinky, evil, rapist, convict, predator POS does not represent us. My first thought when I heard he had won was oh no, Ukraine. Most of us think pukin has compromat on him that makes him even worse. Am so sorry that he is trying to jerk Ukraine around, you all deserve so much better.

Thoroughly enjoyed Fcuk…

I used to be Republican, years ago, but have never voted for the arrogant insurrectionist.

I used to be military, 1975-1991, but the biggest fight of my life will be trying to take Fascism back out of the U.S. government.

Yes, 77 million was a lot. But not a lot more than Harris’ 74.5 million. And 90ish million eligible to vote didn’t even bother !! So, Churchill’s quote (about voters) stands strong. But, he also acknowledged the often quoted; “democracy is the worst form of government - except for all others”. If the election were held today, I don’t think Big-T would win. Which at the moment doesn’t matter…., we, in our billions; from California through Ukraine, from Greenland through Panama, will all suffer from the flaming mistake in Washington D.C. for a long time. The midterm elections are about 20 months away. Let the hard work begin/continue.

Thank you, glad you liked it. You give the rest of us hope - no disrespect - but a Republican who out of principle says no to Trump = good news.

People should always vote how they feel, freely, but the extremes (at both ends of the spectrum) - no thanks. It's a very healthy sign of democracy when people realise that.

Confirmed independent now; somewhere in the middle of the bell curve.

Fervently hoping that the midterm elections will be a blue wave capable of making any (almost inevitable) impeachable offense come down like a sledge hammer on the Mafia Don in the White House. That certainly won’t solve the whole wasp nest, but might take some of the wind out of Vance/Musk/MAGA sails till 2028.

Also, hoping Europe can sideline extremist right wing factions, find a higher gear to support Zelensky and that Ukraine can knock out more refineries and Russian ammo dumps, airfields and industry.

BTW - between us we make three grumpy old men on Ukraine. Just two more and we could be a basketball team !

It feels selfish to say I feel battered physically as well as mentally by this week. Now the latest I am reading here is that Grump's envoy to Ukraine says the Europeans will be kept out of negotiations, while demanding 5% spending on defense, and that Europe puts up the peacekeeping force totally WITHOUT the US! I had read/heard earlier that the peacekeepers would not be allowed to use NATO uniforms.

It had been such a rollercoaster ping pong of one after the other hits and contradictory spewings. Between rage and shame, I don't know what to say to my Ukrainian friends.

I wish this were a Bond+Mission Impossible situation, so we could put a contract out on Evil. ALL of the players..,

And I fear Zalenskji getting any where near Putin/Russians, with Novichuk or windows lurking...

"To most Europeans, the vocabulary of the U.S. President seems like half John Wayne half 5-year-old boy." - sums it up for me, an American, too.
