Zelenskiy can only do so much at the same time. Gee, there's a small War he has to deal with first. I know corruption has been rampant in Ukraine in the past from what I've read. And perhaps Zelenskiy will fire these two indicted individuals. But he does have bigger fish to fry at the moment. Slava Ukraini πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

Yeap. The minister was Stepan Poltorak, the guy who failed mobilization in 2014-2015 when we were seriously lacking soldiers in the Donbas.

I’m confused. I believe I’ve seen you refer to Ukraine in here as a democracy in need of our support, commiseration, friendship and money. Especially money.

You don’t tend to mention that this needy Democracy has not had elections and that they are indefinitely suspended.

But I am glad to see you mention the significant corruption for which Ukraine is known. Folks highly placed in the defense of the nation are stealing the money.

Given that corruption is typically a percentage of the total funds available, it stands to reason that the more we give to Ukraine, the more will be stolen. I’d much rather see it stolen here by a fellow American.

Trump!!! Love Russia!!! Your gaslighting man. Martial law means no elections unless Rada forces it. Your wonderful Ruski mir caused the corruption, abetted it. It slowly is killed. We had and have corruption too. Russia is even worse. The money is good for USA in long run, we need to be able to build new munitions. Missiles expire man, better drop them on enemies than pay contractors to demil them.

Well you don't see elections for Netanyahu either and as long as he keeps the war/slaughter going, he thinks he is safe from corruption trials.

I don’t see how a hole in my underwear gets connected in your thinking to a hole in your shoe. And I am disappointed that you didn’t even get the joke in my post. And nothing breaks my heart more than when people don’t laugh.

As to your logic, maybe I missed it but the money gets spent here in the USA, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, general dynamics, army ordinance Scranton lake city, so yeah I guess it gets β€œstolen” here but it has allowed 15,000 new defense sector jobs in the USA. That’s a conservative number. Our defense industry is not up to task. 14 billion of the last aid package was slotted for welders and submarine/shipbuilding. We should thank Ukraine for the wake up call. It unfortunately took a war for us to realize we let our collective defense industry collapse after 1994.
