Oh, to have it be literally true !! If only Putin would eat trump for lunch ! Almost every American, Canadian and European who has been paying attention, with more than an 11th grade education knows that trump is absolutely toxic. We could eliminate both trump and Putin with just one lunch.

My levels of anger and anxiety are high already, but apparently they can go even higher. All eyes are on Europe. Canada and other countries have given huge monetary support, but it won’t put boots on the ground.

Do you foresee Europe (France) sending troops? And if so, will trump send the US military to fight alongside russia?

The points Putin made were parts of Trump’s proposed deal. I wrote re at the time. How oddly coincidental that what Vova listed was the same. Everyone was focused on the mineral rights aspect, but see how much more was involved. Of Course Zelenskyy wouldn’t sign that paper they sleightedvof hand to him expecting him to just blindly sign. Then came the infamous spectacle in the Oval Office. And now Vova lists the very same points as his demand. Krasnov is a Russian asset, indeed. Game/set/match, now explain why that’s not some kind of high crime or misdemeanour for which he should be impeachedβ€”AGAIN.

It would be nice if it mattered more, but most Americans don’t support the supremely insecure, gullible and narcissistic old man who managed to get into the White House a second time.

Trump is spot on. That said, wars are hard to stop, especially "forever proxy war".

Joe Biden and the Neocons provoked the war. Over a million Ukrainians have likely been killed. They and we are losing the war. Our military wing, NATO, is getting killed too. Its days are numbered. If peace cannot be had, sadly Ukraine will lose. Sorry to clue you in. The theme park that is Europe, the EU and our NATO partners can do nothing other than try to drag the U.S. into a World War or worse.

We knew NATO was a red line in 2022 when VP Kamala Harris publically welcomed Ukraine to join NATO at the Munich security conference. Brilliant no? Russia invaded days later. Can you imagine the CCP or Putin joining a military alliance with Canada? We would take 10 minutes before we intervened with everything we have. Did we forget 1 in 7 Russians died when Germany attacked Russia through what we now call Ukraine? Maybe we forgot that Ukraine had been part of Russia since 1783 and Catherine the Great who won the majority of it from the Ottomans in a long forgotten war. What we do know is that Ukraine had never previously been a country prior to the fall of the Soviet Union. Never. In fact, Zelensky doesn't even speak the language. We led Zelensky, a peace candidate, into war. Another victim of the great regime change proxy wars of recent decades that we have inflicted on one country after the next. Rules based of course.

Trump is trying to find a way out given the Biden Administration pressured Zelensky to pass on two peace proposals from Russia before the war and one, the Istanbul Accord, weeks after the invasion and before over a million died and 20% of the Ukrainian population fled for their lives, many to Russia. Sad, pathetic.

Of course you and we should pray Trump will find success. Peace. Wishful thinking.

Typical MAGA idiocy. I guess you missed the part with Putin having broken 25 peace agreements he signed. You're actually blaming Biden/Harris for your reason why Russia INVADED a free, democratic Country? You're reasoning is almost worth a quick grin.

Almost everything else there is false or misleadingly stated, too.

For one thing, Ukraine-Nato relations long predate Kamala Harris being in national politics. Independent Ukraine reached out to Nato in 1997 after the Russian Federation Council made a claim on the city of Sevastopol, internationally recognized Ukrainian territory. A Nato-Ukraine Action Plan was first adopted in 2002. Presidents Yushchenko and Bush in 2005 jointly declared a "strategic partnership" between Ukraine and the US, and committed to the accession of Ukraine to the WTO and to Nato. etc.

The tedious old analogy of a Chinese or Russian alliance with Canada (or Mexico) is again invoked. If Canada did ever partner with a US adversary, of course the correct American response would be to examine how we had screwed up that relationship so badly, to drive Canadians away from us... 😬
