I'm sure that the Ukrainians are extremely tired about not knowing if they'll be bombed by Russia overnight and lose the chance to live even another day. The stress has to be enormous, as Putin continues his attack policy of targeting sensitive civilians targets to achieve maximum human loss and suffering. It's essential that Biden remove his limit on using American-donated arms and equipment to Ukraine so they have a better chance of cutting off the military supplies of the 'orcs' and ending this war.

I've said it before. I'll say it again. I'm not so sure that:

1. Trump can enact any policy against the his SecDef, Chair of JC, et al. Who is going to throw away a career for a 1 term lame duck? I can see the conversation now... "Mr President, I'd love to be your SecDef, can you tell me your Ukraine policy, clearly?" If it involves abandonment, no serious candidate will join up to be the guy who "rode herd" on a policy that will put NATO at risk, escalates China/Taiwan, and destroys trust in allies when we are trying to build a coalition in the Pacific. "We need basing rights, but don't worry about "escalation management" if you are ever attacked."

I'm not so sure that:

2. 8 more years of Escalation Management isn't the same end result as worst case scenario Trump. Like you guys I have friends all over Ukraine. What's best for them? Forcing Europe's hand to do more for Ukraine because Trump isn't? Or 8 more years of half promises and late arrival of arms bookended by rules of engagement that slowly cede territory and cost Ukrainian sons and daughters? All the while, allowing NATO/Europe to do exactly what they did on the 50b of Russian asset money... show no backbone... and wait for the Americans to lead. What happens if American leadership never comes?

I won't vote for Trump. I'll have to write in Haley so I can sleep at night. But I can't vote for Harris either.

Trump will sell Ukraine down the river to his own profit.

I am Australian so I I don't know how Americans, on the ground, so to speak , feel about Ukraine. What I do know is that a lot of Americans are feeling the pinch financially and feel that the money spent on Ukraine should be used to help Americans. What Trump will do no body knows , I don't think Trump knows either.Anyway he will not be allowed to be president , or if he does win by such a large margin the Demos can't cheat , he will be sentenced to prison anyway. The Kutchner's have business with Putin's family I hear so no doubt the Kutchner's will make the decisions.
